I feel bad for neglecting the readers that have still been faithfully checking my blog eventhough I have yet to update since about a week ago! Gosh!!
Thank you though for being so silently persistent. =)
Thus I will now blog.
And it so happens to be a year from when I first started this blog, when I moved on from the crappy levisanatomy. When I started to see how screwed up I am (not that I’m screwed down already), and then changed before I killed myself.
So a lot has happened, good and bad, it’s things that I won’t regret, but yet I might and might never want to relive it again. It is a love-hate thing. I learned good lessons from it. Thank God no one died or got knocked up in the process. *phew*
I might have judged people or situations wrongly, but I will never take back what I say, because whatever comes out at the moment, it what it is, even though I may not mean it that much now, but it is what I meant at that heat of the moment. So yea, live with it.
I have no idea where I am going with this post, seriously, you should notice by now.
I admit i ain’t that good of a blogger IF I have no passion towards the particular topic. But what I do have, is the ability to cultivate passion just for the sake of it. =)
But I just wanna thank you for the people who have stuck by me through the year, you guys have been great, no doubt, I don’t wanna name all of ya, you know who you are. If you think it’s you then it is. Even though you may not remember, but at some point, you did make a positive impact in my 2007/2008 season.
I will end with this story, from the book Like the flowing RIver by Paulo Coelho;-
The story of the Pencil,
A boy was watching his grandmother write a letter. At one point, he asked:
‘Are you writing a story about what we’ve done? Is it a story about me?’
His grandmother stopped writing her letter and said to her grandson:
‘I am writing about you, actually, but more important than the words is the pencil I’m using. I hope you will be like this pencil when you grow up.’
Intrigued, the boy looked at the pencil It didn’t seem very special.
‘But it’s just like any other pencil I’ve ever seen!’
‘That depends on how you look at things. It has five qualities which, if you manage to hang on to them, will make you a person who is always at peace with the world.
‘First quality:you are capable of great things, but you must never forget that there is a hand guiding your steps. We call that hand God, and He always guides us according to His will.
‘Second quality: now and then, I have to stop writing and use a sharpener. That makes the pencil suffer a little, but afterwards he’s much sharper. So you, too , must learn to bear certain pains and sorrows, because they will make you a better person.
‘Third quality: the pencil always allows us to use an eraser to run out any mistakes. This means that correcting something we did is not necessarily a bad thing; it helps to keep us on the road to justice.
‘Fourth quality: what really matters in a pencil is not it’s wooden exterior but the graphite inside. So always pay attention to what is happening inside you.
‘Finally, the pencil’s fifth quality: it always leaves a mark. In just the same way, you should know that everything you do in life will leave a mark, so try to be conscious of that in your every action.’
Paulo Coelho, I wanna be like him someday, writing words that have meaning, true meaning behind them. I love this book and i’ll be posting stories from it time to time, the ones that I really like. So yea…
Happy Birthday Transitions. =)
Keep on coming people, love ya! XD
