I have finally finished all four Stephenie Meyer’s Twilight series books. I have to admit, halfway through Eclipse and the 2nd half of Breaking Dawn, I was starting to convince myself that this might not be that much of a “chick book”. BUT, the ending, the last few pages, the few lines, it gave it all away, it WAS a chick book. sighs. why wasn’t there no war. rawr. Just one puny little death. pfft.

I really don’t mind watching them come to live, just to satisfy my curiosity of how accurate they look like compared to my imagination, like Dakota Fanning was spot on. haha. That was so totally the type of girl i had in mind for little Jane. xD

Next Book: Veronica Decides to Die – Paulo Coelho.

aahh.. back to normality, good poetic, awesome literature.=)

For One More Day

27 01 2009

I went out today.

I will start on this once I finish New Moon - Stephenie Meyer (not mine, I dont buy chick books xD )

I like this holiday, not that it makes much different from my normal schedule, just about 6 hours unoccupied. Lol.

But it still makes a significance in my 24 hours per day. =)

Happy Chinese New Year.  ( no I will not succumb and put that lame joke “niu year” -_- , over used people, over used. )

Of Poles and Rules

1 05 2008

Page 57 of Paulo’s Coelho’s Like The Flowing River,

Of Poles and Rules

In the autumn of 2003, I was strolling through the center of Stockholm late one night when I saw a woman walking along using Ski poles. My first reaction was to assume that she must had had an accident, but then I noticed that she was moving swiftly and rhythmically, just as if she were skiing, except of course, that we were surrounded by asphalt. The obvious conclusion was: ‘The woman must be mad. How can she possibly pretend she’s skiing in a city?’

Not so blue Monday?

19 11 2007

Well, lets see what I did today.

Went to college to re-collect my Exam docket.(Because I lost the original the day I received it.-_-)

Went for lunch with the Guys.

Then headed to the Curve to meet up with Angeline, Ben, Alex, his siblings, and friends, and also Enoch.=)

We just sat at Starbucks and talked about everything under the Sun, which basically includes sadistic remarks.

BUT, the highlight of the day was me adding to my collection of Paulo Coelho’s books, which I currently only have , The Zahir and The Alchemist. I stepped into Popular Bookstore and there before my eyes, lay the most amazing cover I’ve ever seen. And it wasn’t alone, it had friends, about Ten of em’. =D I’m talking about books f.y.i . AND, me bought four of em’ *grins*.

There it is. Four. The Pilgrimage, By the River Pierdra I sat down and wept, The Devil and Miss Prym, and Like a Flowing River.

Just a few more copies and it shall be complete.=D

Not everyone likes the International Bestselling Author, Paulo Coelho’s writing, but I LOVE it!

Simply because I can relate to his stories, stories of dreams, hope, love, traverse, culture, and many more. The way he produces it in such a deep and rather poetic way captivates me. So yea.

And someone pleaaaaaaaaaseeeeeeeeeeeee slap me into study mode. Cos’ I’m far from it. But my finals aren’t cos it’s next week!! aaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrggggggggggggggghhhhh!!!!!!!!!!

Junk Male

25 10 2007

I bought another book!!!

 Junk Male

Junk Male

Sometimes, no matter how hard a man tries, nothing, but nothing, will go right.

When Joel’s wife Ellen announces she’s pregnant, he gulps but prepares to accept the challenges of fatherhood, even if it means trading in his precious sax and looking for a steady job to provide for his offspring.

But it’s not that straightforward.

Ellen has a little secret regarding the baby and she’s got a race against time to make sure Joel doesn’t find out. Then there’s Joel’s friend Monk, the most arrogant womanizer you could hope to meet, who has warped agenda of his own. And when the three of them start plotting, planning and scheming, there can be only one result: total and utter chaos.

Who said all men were useless? It may just be that they were right . . .

A blackly comic novel of love, misunderstandings and fatherhood from the acclaimed author of The Feng-Shui Junkie, Brian Gallagher.

I’m starting to hate Amcorp!! It like every time I go there now it’s another book. haih..

I’m just trying to get my mind of “something”, which isn’t working.=/

But this book is pretty interesting and hilarious.

Then again, I should finish up my assignments.
