I CAMWHORED WITH JOHN LEGEND

16 03 2008
img_0717a1.jpg
This is as real as it gets!
Even though the picture may be blur(I blame the bodyguard who took this), It’s still worth a million buck babeh!!
As thousand of fans screamed when he performed, with some girls willing to flash their you-know-what, I got to see him backstage after that. MUAHAHAHAHAHAHA
It’s just surreal, meeting the Master of R&B and Soul, the Legend himself.
My only regret that night was not bringing the Nikon D80. Because I was told I wouldn’t be able to bring it in, I didn’t want to risk it, and also it rained. BUT! Meeting John Legend was able to surpass that.
Awesooooooooooomeee!!!
I shall steal some pics from people soon.=)
*thanks Joni for the cam.
I shall now go drown myself in John Legend music. muahahahahahahahahaha…..

One Night in Alexis

24 09 2007

Headed down to Alexis Bistro & Wine Bar, Ampang with some friends to check out Janice Yap’s show on Saturday night(Yea, I skipped the Arsenal match..-_-)

The band consist of Simon Lee(drums),  Lee Eu Jin(bass), Bernard Yong(Acoustic),John Lim & Amanda(Back-ups) and last but not least Janice Yapon the vocals and acoustic.

The band certainly did a great job serenading the crowd with 2 sets of songs which rounds up to about 35 songs.  Talk about memorizing all those songs, definitely harder than 50hours.=p

Although I’d have to say the sound system and the way it was set up around Alexis wasn’t really suited for such a performance. It was a situation where if you didn’t get a good seat, it was too bad for ya.

Well, all in all there was no regret in going. Especially since this is the last gig for Janice Yap as she will be leaving for London .

Do check out Alexis sometime, they’ve got a great line-up of Artist coming up soon.=)

I leave you with a random pic which is considered good with the 4.0 I used to take in a barely lighted place.

It’s a drum world

11 09 2007

It’s finally over!We made it!50 hours non-stop drumming!

Not even the word ecstatic could define how we felt at the end( we were all probably too exhausted), but satisfied we certainly were. Here are some amateur shots for the moment because I have no idea where to get the official ones.

This was like middle of the night, yea, I got the graveyard shift. But when I looked at the time it literally looked like it wasn’t moving, somehow time moves slower when your tired.-_-
